About the Centre

An initiative established by Delpoint

POSTBIOTICS CENTRE was established by Delpoint, a Kenyan dairy processing company, to advance the scientific understanding of postbiotics. Drawing on dairy fermentation expertise, the Centre supports research, education and professional training in a field that still rewards careful study.

Its public mandate is to make credible science easier to follow, so that researchers, educators, health and food professionals and curious learners can build their understanding on evidence rather than assertion.

Mission and standing

An internationally oriented scientific knowledge institution

The Centre aims to be a knowledge institution with an international outlook, bringing African science and dairy processing experience into conversation with global postbiotic research. Its work connects laboratories, universities, industry and learners across borders.

Scientific governance guides every publication and programme. Claims are kept proportionate to the evidence, established findings are distinguished from emerging hypotheses, and contributions are reviewed for accuracy before they reach the public.
